Minutes of the Business Meeting
of May 6, 2019
I. The business meeting was called to order at 6:34 PM by President Charles Tucker.
Members attending President Charles Tucker, Vice-President Steve Grenot, Treasurer Bill Little, Secretary Reed Ostrander,.Members: Chip Barona, Howard Cowgill, Jerrry Dupont, Dustin Kilmer, Jacob Navarro, Andrew Keiderling, Sean O'Brien, Richard Simmons; Visitor: none
A. Announcements
1. The next run session(s) will be at 6:00 PM at the Club House on May 13 and 20. Grill on at 5:30 PM. Inform Bill if you intend to eat.
2. The next business meeting will be held at 6:30 PM at the Clubhouse on June 10, Grill on at 5:30 PM. Inform Bill if you intend to eat.
B. Minutes of the previous meeting of April 1, 2019 were read by Secretary Reed Ostrander.
1. Chip moved acceptane and was seconded by Bill Little.
a. The minutes were accepted as written.
C. The treasurer's report was presented by Bill Little.
1. As of thissndate there is $1,688.02 in the treasury, The balance agreed with the bank for the third time in a row.
a. Chip move acceptance and was seconded byJerry.
b. The repport was accepted as presented.
D. Old Business
1. Reed bought some new black aquarium gravel for use as cinders on the roundhouse module.
2. The modeling subject for July was to be tree making. This is on hold.
3. Bill made a motion to hold both the June and July business meeting on the second Monday of the repective months.
a. The motion was seconded by Jacob.
b. The mpotion passed.
4. The 10 new track end bumpers have yet to be purchased for the roundhouse module.
E. New Business
1. The dates for Flomaton and Dothan shows will be checked by Charles.
2. Reed will look into repair of the road crossing signals on the Hoff cement module. Repair will require access to the module at some tiome not at a show to access the bottom of the module.
3. After discussion, Bill moved that trailer replacement be set for next year (2020).
a. the motion was seconded by Reed.
b. The motion passed.
4. Reed will present a CD of New York Central steam power in replacement of Chip's work session on May 20.
F. The meeting was adjourned at 6:58 PM.
