Minutes of the Business Meeting
of June 7, 2011
I. The business meeting was called to order at 6:36 PM by President Ron Hartman.
Members attending: President Ron Hartman, Vice-president Steve Grenot, Treasurer Bill Little, Secretary Reed Ostrander, Members: Cody Beers, Tim Beers, Chip Borona, Bob Murphy, Connor O’Brien.
A. Announcements
1. The next run session will be held on June 21, at 6:00PM at Bill Little’s.
2. The next meeting will be held at 6:30PM at Trains by Johnson’s on July 5, 2011.
3. There will be a work session June 25th beginning at 11:00 AM at the Club house. See D.4.
B. Minutes of the previous meeting of May 3, 2011 were read by Secretary Reed Ostrander.
1. Tim moved acceptance and was seconded by Bob.
a. The minutes were accepted as written.
C. The treasurer’s report was presented by Bill Little.
1. As of this date there is $185.73 in the treasury.
2. Still have $160.00 dues outstanding.
3. We are being charged $5.00 to $10.00 per month service fee by the bank. Bill will see if he can get the monthly charge reduced.
4. We still have to purchase our show insurance which is about $300.00. A special assessient may be required to meet all the upcoming charges.
a. Unusual expenses have been paid including a full set of new tires for the trailer and increased gasoline costs for travel to shows.
5. Reed moved acceptance and was seconded by Tim.
a. The report was accepted as presented.
D. Old Business
1. The Interstate Fair dinner will be held tomorrow at 6:30 PM at the fair grounds. The executive committee will attend plus interested members.
2. Reed was asked to check on whether we have received attendance payments from Fairhope and Atlanta.
3. There was no one interested in going to the Tallahassee show so the application was withdrawn.
4. There will be a work session June 25th beginning at 11:00 AM at the Club House to work on the doors, etc.
5. President Ron asked for a show of hands of those who will attend the Dothan show. &jbsp;
a. Chip, Reed, Ron, Steve, Bob M., Conner and probably Bill.
b. We have not received a date for this show as yet but it is usually in the latter half of September.
E. New Business
&jbsp; 1. There will be a work session at Heathers on July 16 at 10:00 AM.
a. Track issues will be addressed.
b. Heather’s house is at 2630 Southern Oaks Drive in Cantonment.
F. The meeting was adjourned at 7:29 PM.
