Minutes of the business meeting
July 7, 2009
I. The business meeting was called to order at 6:41 PM by President Ron Hartman.
Members attending: President Ron Hartman, Vice-president Steve Grenot, Treasurer Dennis McDermott, Secretary Reed Ostrander. Members: Banks Edwards, Marion Johnson, Bob Murphy, Jackie Nelson. Visitor: Jesse Shealy.
A. Announcements
1. The next business meeting will be August 4, 2009.
2. The next run session will be July 21, 2009 at Trains by Johnson.
B. Minutes of the previous meeting of June 2, 2009 were read by Secretary Reed Ostrander.
1. Banks moved acceptance and was seconded by Jackie.
a. The minutes were accepted as written.
C. The treasurer’s report was presented by Dennis McDermott
1. As of this date there is $1867.04 in the treasury.

D. Old Business
1. The Dothan show will be the 19th and 20th of September. Set up will be Friday September 18th at 2:00 PM.
E. New Business
1. Reed handed out two updated and revised handbook pages Wiring Rules for Modules and the Module Wiring Evaluation Sheet.
2. Rebuilding of the fiddle yard to obtain greater radii on the entrance curves was discussed.
a. A new 24" x 30" extension on the yard tables will be needed to accommodate the broader curves.
b. A No. 6 Y turnout will be needed for the red line yard.

c. A turnout leading to the cement plant should be included.
