Minutes of the Business Meeting
12 July 2021
I. The business meeting was called to order at 6:30 PM by President Charles Tucker.
A. Officers attending: President Charles Tucker, Vice-President Steve Grenot, Treasurer Bill Little, Secretary Gerald Russo
B. Members attending: Bob Canavella, Banks Edwards, Dustin Kelmer, Chuck Mudford, Reed Ostrander, Richard Simmons.
II. Minutes of the previous meeting of June 7, 2021 were read by Secretary Gerald Russo.
A. Corrections to minutes: None
B. The minutes were moved and accepted.
C. The treasurer's report was presented by Treasurer Bill Little.
1. As of this date there is $2,320.56 in the treasury.
2. Current expenditurers:
a. $526.66 for turnouts.
b. $162 for wire
c. $60 for chairs

III. Old Business
A. Continued work on club layout, also need a list of module repairs.
B. Report on Engine Servicing Facility.
1. Basically, the module runs.
2. Power to the switch by the bridge is working
C. Need to schedule future work days.
D. Thanks to Gerald Dupont, Reed and Chuck for their trouble shooting of the on the modules.
D. We are still waiting for the digital controller for turntable.
IV. New Business
A. Suggestion by Reed to amend the Chapter Constitution to add the requirement that the four chapter officers be appointed to sign checks (minimum of two signatures per check).
B. Suggestion related to the possibility that the club layout mayneed a more powerful DCC system (3 engines running nee 2+ amps). Current system allows for a max of 10 engines running.
1. Follow-up suggestion to wait until the layout is complete to see if an upgrade is required.
C. Need drops for all sidings off of track #4 to include toggle switches.
D. Need to match lumber yard modules connector pins (Reed's).
E. Need to verify the Dothan Train Show dates
F. Comments by President:
1. Need a forensic audit of the chapters books annually, if possible.
2. Approve $100 to Banks for chapter Web page site upkeep. (Moved and accepted).
V. Club Welfare
A. Our prayers are with Chip and Susan. We continue to lift up Steve, Donna, Rick Simmons, Reed Ostrander and Bill Little. Reed has again been in the hospital.
