Minutes of the Business Meeting

April 2, 2013

I. The business meeting was called to order at 6:38 PM by President Bob Murphy.

            Members attending: President Bob Murphy, Vice-president Steve Grenot, Treasurer Bill Little, Secretary Reed Ostrander, Members: Banks Edwards, Bob Murphy, Sean O’Brien, Art Sherman, Richard Simmons, Charles Tucker; Visitor: Ronald Day.

            A. Announcements

                        1. The next run session will be on April 16 at 6:00 PM at Bill Little’s.

                        2. A second run session will be on April 23 at 6:30 PM at Marie’s.

3. The next meeting will be held at 6:30PM at Trains by Johnson’s on May 7, 2012.

4. The next work session at NAS will be at 11:00 AM, April 8. Lots to do so please try to attend and help out.

B. Minutes of the previous meeting of March 5, 2013 were read by Secretary Reed Ostrander.

                        1. Art moved acceptance and was seconded by Banks.

                                    a. The minutes were accepted as written.

            C. The Treasurer’s report was presented by Bill Little.

                        1. As of this date there is $2102.04 in the treasury.

                        2. $178.00 was paid to update state registration as a non-profit organization.

                                    a.  Reed moved acceptance and was seconded by Banks.

                                    b. The report was accepted as presented.

            D. Old Business

1. Reed mentioned that he found the trailer open at NAS. Please be sure to close the trailer before leaving.

2. Bob will continue work on the farm module but could use some help. Good chance to gain some experience in scenery work.

            E. New Business

1. Banks has started a new PMRC HO Division web page. He will pass around the new address as soon as he has it (http://phomrc.com).

2. Sean reviewed his interview with city administrator Bill Reynolds re a possible site for a train show.

                                    a. Possible use of a Community Center needs followup.

                                    b. Bob said he will contact Bill Reynolds Monday.

1) Space requirements were discussed. About 700 ft²  per display layout plus areas for vendors.

2) Vendor table cost was also discussed. About $25.00 to $50.00 seems to be what smaller shows charge.

                        3. Vice President Steve will chair the next meeting.

            F. The meeting was adjourned at 7:25 PM.
