Minutes of the Business Meeting
April 5, 2016
The business meeting was called to order at 6:38 PM by President Reed Ostrander
Officers attending: Vice President Steve Grenot, Secretary Chip Borona and Treasurer Bill Little. Members attending:
Jerry Dupont, Sean O’Brien, Rick Simmons. We had one guest, Howard Cowgill, who has now attended three Club events.
I. Reading of the Minutes
A. The minutes of the previous meeting was read by Secretary Chip Borona.
The approval of the minutes was moved by Reed, seconded by Jerry and approved by the membership.
II. Treasurer’s Report
The Treasurer’s report was read to the club by Bill Little reporting that the current balance is $854.00.
The approval of the report was moved by Reed, seconded by Jerry and approved by the membership.
III. Announcements
The next business meeting will be held at 6:30PM at Bill’s Train Shed on Tuesday May 3rd.
Hot Dogs & Hamburgers & the trimmings will be provided!! You can also bring your own food to grill, a cover dish or desert. There will be drinks or BYOB. Members can arrive at 5:30 PM to grill and eat dinner, then to stay after the meeting to run trains. Bill will leave the gate on the side street open.

The next run session will be at held at 6:00PM at Jerry Dupont’s home layout on Tuesday April 19th.
Food availability is TBD.
Jerry will send out a map with directions.
The Club will have another run session at Bill’s Train Shed at 6:00PM on Tuesday April 26th.
The grill will be on and Hot Dogs & Hamburgers & the trimmings will be provided!!
Members can arrive at 5:30 PM to grill and eat dinner, then run trains.
You can also bring something to grill if you like.

IV. Old Business
Roundhouse work to do list
Plywood underlay and joists completed on triangular module
Complete plywood underlay and joists on rectangular module
All the legs have been received from Dave Ramirez
One additional turnout for coaling tower to be added.
This will be a new purchase.
Bill made a motion to buy the switch , Steve seconded and it was approved by the membership
Isolate slip switches and controls
Install turnout motors and controls
Scenery and buildings
Farm module scenery
Design complete
All material available
Lamp cord wiring should be re-done with correct color wiring
Any action on Chip’s eight foot “waffle” module?
Design layout based on switchback classic “Gumstump & Snowshoe”.
Ready for track and wiring
Second eight foot “waffle” module ready for assemble
Jerry will need to move the trailer to his home so work on the Ethanol Plant and the Bridge module can be completed.
A work session for Saturday is TBD by Reed.
V. New Business
New Members
Howard Cowgill has now attended three Club events.
Chip moved that he be accepted as a new member, Sean seconded and the motion was approved by the membership.
Please welcome Howard to the Club.
VI. Club Welfare
Steve’s mom will not be going home after her recovery from surgery
Ethan Allan furniture is available for sale and her cats are available for adoption.
Steve has 90 days to complete removing the items inside her home.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:15 PM.
