Minutes of the Business Meeting
February 3, 2020
I. The
business meeting was called to order at 6:30 PM by President Charles Tucker.
Members attending: President Charles Tucker, Vice-president Steve Grenot,
Treasurer Bill Little, Secretary Reed Ostrander. Members: Chip Borona, Dustin
Kelmer, Chuck Mudford, Richard Simmons; Visitor: Gerald Russo.
A. Announcements
1. The next run session(s)
will be at 6:00 PM, February 10,17 and 24 at the Clubhouse. Grill on at 5:00 pm.
Inform Bill if you intend to eat.
2. The next business meeting
will be held at 6:30PM at the Clubhouse on March 2, 2020.
Grill on at 5:30 pm. Inform Bill if you intend to eat.
3. The next work session
will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 6 at the Clubhouse.
B. Minutes of the previous
meeting of January 6, 2020 were read by Secretary Reed Ostrander.
1. Chip moved acceptance and was seconded by Rick..
a. The minutes were accepted as written.
C. The treasurer’s report was presented by Charles for Bill Little.
1. As of this date there is $1977.60 in the treasury.
a. Steve moved acceptance and was seconded by Chip.
b. The report was accepted as presented.
D. Old Business
1. Charles noted that Gerald
Russo and Benjamin Kelmer were up for membership.
a. Chip moved that the above
named be accepted as PMRC HO Division members.
1) The motion was seconded by Destin.
b. The motion passed. Welcome to the new members.
2. Upcoming club clinics;
a. Reed - ballasting, February 17
b. Chuck - programming
engines, February 24.
1) Running the roundhouse modules.
3. Thanks to Bill for
hosting Club meetings and serving up haute cuisine meals.
4. Assignments for Mobile Via show:
a. Coordinator - Reed
b. Trailer Load Master and Electrical specialist - Destin
5. Items to repair:
a. Strengthen roundhouse.
b. Check turntable.
c. Check rail continuity of turnout to cement plant.
d. Fix alcohol plant sidings.
e. Fix track on lumber and woodland modules.
f. Fix track to coal ramp on packing plant module.
g. Check turnouts on mine.
h. Replace broken end board of mine module.
6. Spring project - install pin connector system on all modules.
a. Do after Mobile show.
E. New Business
1. Do roundhouse run demonstration after Chuck’s clinic on February 24.
2. Charles noted that cooperation has improved - keep up the good work.
3. Chip suggested a Club clinic on car maintenance.
4. Chip has a 12 ft x 18 in module from Bobe's if you wish to utilize it.
a. Also has some tools and available.
