Minutes of Business Meeting
of September 14, 2026
I. The business meeting was called to order at 6:30 PM by President Charles
Tucker.
a. Officers attending: President Charles Tucker,
Vice-president Steve Grenot, Treasurer Bill Little, Secretary Gerald Russo.
B. Members attending: Garrett
Allison, Richard Bamber, Bob Canavello, Jerry Dupont, Banks Edwards, Michael
Eells, Brian Kraatz, Chuck Mudford, Sean O’Brien, Reed Ostrander, Mark Soltero.
II. Minutes of the previous meeting of Aug. 3rd were read
by Secretary Gerald Russo.
A. Corrections to minutes: “Flomaton”. The minutes were
moved and accepted.
B. The treasurer’s report was presented by Treasurer
Bill Little. As of this date there is $1,977.64 in the treasury.
III. Announcements:
A. Next Meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. October 5, 2026.
B. Next run sessions will be September 21& 28. September 21 will be an operating session at 6 p.m. if desired.
C. We still have 2024 and 2025 cars available.
D. There is a train show in Flomaton on September 26th, set up on Friday, September 25. We can begin the set-up at 9am if desired.
E. Work has begun on the new yard modules.
F. It was great to see both Reed and Maria at last Monday’s run session.
IV. Old Business
A. Report on the progress of new engine facility modules and work schedule for construction. (Suggested for Tuesday’s at 2pm)
B. Jesse will direct the unloading and reloading of the newly finished trailer.
V. New Business
A. Please post news, pictures, video to the PMRC HO Facebook page. Meeting times, etc. need updating.
B. We have some housekeeping’s details to attend to:
1. Garrett would like to use one of the RR crossing units to be added to his new show module. (Hooray for a new module). Motion, 2nd & approved
C. Status of other 2 crossing signals (Suggestion for one crossing signal to be added to the gas station corner module.)
D. Recommendation to vote on Steve Hoxie as a club member. (Hold for next meeting)
E. Comments by President: Thanks
to both Mark and Jesse for the work done on modifying the travel trailer.
F.. Comments by any other members. Possible “Blue” security
check mark to be added to PMRC HO WWW site.
VI. Club Welfare We continue to lift up Steve, Reed, Patricia Dupont and David Ramirez.
