Minutes of Business
Meeting of October 6, 2025
I. The business meeting was called to order at 6:30 PM by
President Charles Tucker.
A. Officers attending: President Charles Tucker,
Vice-president Steve Grenot, Treasurer Bill Little, Secretary Gerald Russo.
B. Members attending:
Garrett Allison, Bob Canavello, Jerry Dupont, Banks Edwards, Michael Eells, Ed
Lundberg, Chuck Mudford, Barb & Sam Shilling, Mark Soltero.
II. Minutes of the previous meeting of September 8th were
read by Secretary Gerald Russo.
A. Corrections to minutes: none. The minutes were moved
and accepted.
B. The treasurer’s report was presented by Treasurer
Bill Little. As of this date there is $2,570.92 in the treasury.
III. Announcements:
A. Next Meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. November 3.
B. Next run sessions will be at the Fair!!
C. We still have 2024 and 2025 cars available. Please
avail yourselves of the opportunity to add some unique cars to your fleet.
D. Set up at the Fair will begin on Sunday, October 12
at 11am.
E. Thanks to all who participated with the Flomation
show. We had good help and the show was a success. In the future, we need to be
careful about which plugs plug to which!
IV. Old Business
A. Update on the trailer wrap: the new signs for the
layout will cost about $90.00 for three signs.
B. Update on plans for Work during the Fair set-up.
1. Please exercise care
when taking down modules.
2 Need additional 9”
track sections for certain modules.
3 We will be in the same
building as before.
4. After the last shows,
some module buildings were damaged.
5. Need more individuals
to sign-up to run trains.
C. The Navy Federal Christmas Bash will be held at the
old Winery on E. Gonzales on December 19 and 20 from 6-10 p.m. We will bring the
4x8 layout to the clubhouse after we take the engine facility to the Fair. We
will need 3 folks to run the layout at a time. Eleven switch machines will need
to be installed plus the controllers for those machines. More details to come.
D. We still need some how to do it clinics. Any
suggestions?
E. Design for the new improved roundhouse yard.
V. New Business
A. Chuck and Jesse are working on the trailer shelf
design for module storage.
B. Comments by President. Passes for the Fair are
coming.
C. Comments by any other members.
VI. Club Welfare
We continue to lift up Steve, Reed and Patricia Dupont.
