Minutes of business meeting
3 October 2022
I. The business meeting was called to order at
6:30 PM by President Charles Tucker.
A. Officers attending: President Charles Tucker,
Vice-president Steve Grenot, Treasurer Bill Little, Secretary Gerald Russo.
B. Members: Bob Canavello, Jerry Dupont, Banks Edwards, Chuck Mudford, Sean O’Brien, Richard Simmons, John Sumner, Bob Tribble
II. Minutes of the previous meeting of Sept. 12th were read by Secretary Gerald
Russo.
A. Corrections to minutes: Adjournment time changed to
6:55pm.
1.The minutes were moved
and accepted.
B. The treasurer’s report was presented by Treasurer
Bill Little.
1. As of this date there
is $2,482.50 in the treasury.
III. Announcements:
A. Next Meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. November 7, 2022
B. Next run session(s) October 10, & 31. (17th & 24th –
at Fair)
C. Thank you to Bill for his hospitality!
D. The Fair is October 20-30. Set up begins Sunday,
October 16 at 12:30p.m. teardown on Sunday, October 30.
E. TrainFest is November 12-13 with setup on Friday,
November 11. 4.
IV. Old Business
A. Work on finishing the new yard and powering the sidings on
Green. Turnout into the yard on the north end needs some attention. Also the
yard needs some more drops on the north end to fix some dead spots in the track.
B. Finish the Farm module. - (a few minor details)
C. Need HO Div. member shirt sizes.
V. New Business
A. Continue work on preparing for Operating sessions-
currently installing new turnouts.
B. Motion & second to purchase Plexiglas for show
modules.
VI. Comments from the President.
A. Information concerning the Fair and Railfest
B. Review of Dothan and Flomaton shows.
1. Short staff at Flomaton
C. Comments by any other members.
1 Need a written list of members who indicate their attendance at shows.
2. Need to mark the straps in the trailer for their positions.
VII. Club Welfare
A. Our prayers are with Chip and Susan. Chip is in much
pain and not doing well. We continue to lift up Steve, Donna, Rick Simmons, and
Reed Ostrander.
