Minutes of the Business Meeting

I. The business meeting was called to order at 6:30 PM by President Charles Tucker.
     A. Officers attending: President Charles Tucker, Vice-president Steve Grenot, Treasurer Bill Little, Secretary Gerald Russo.
     B. Members attending: Garrett Allison, Jerry Dupont, Michael Eells, Ed Lundberg, Chuck Mudford, Sean O’Brien, Barb & Sam Shilling, Mark Soltero.

II. Minutes of the previous meeting of April 7, 2025 were read by Secretary Gerald
Russo.
     A. Corrections to minutes: none. The minutes were moved and accepted.
     B. The treasurer’s report was presented by Treasurer Bill Little. As of this date there is $2,833.92 in the treasury.

III. Announcements:
     A. Next Meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. on June 2, 2025
     B. Next run sessions will be on May 5, 12, 19, & 25. May 19 will be an operating session at 6 pm.

IV. Old Business
     A. Repairs need to be made here on the club layout. (See separate sheet.)
     B. Continue work on preparing for Operating sessions- currently installing new turnouts. (Work is in progress.)
     C. Motion to remove the recently installed curved turnouts and replace with flex track. Motion, 2nd & approved. Russo will supply the flex track, rail joiners and track nails.
     D. Eight sets of new patch tracks have been installed on the show modules, but with many more to go. Each one took nearly an hour.
     E. The club still has 20 of the 2024 cars yet to be claimed. Please claim and pay for them, also 2025 cars are for sale to club members for $27.00. Please pay Bill.

V. New Business
     A. Feedback on how the Rail Fest set-up, take-down and running of trains went.
     B. Need to vote in prospective members: Jacob Hancock & Ed Lundberg. Motion, 2nd & approved.
     C. Comments by any other members.
          1. Suggestion to place “PMRC HO” wrap on trailer.
          2. Suggestion for the club to purchase “special tools” for use by members.
          3. Suggestion to remove club member’s e-mail addresses from WEB site. (Done)
          4. 2026 RailFest Pensacola set for April 25-26, set-up on 24th.
          5. Motion to rebuild the Train Show Bridge, 2nd & approved.

VI. Club Welfare: We continue to lift up Steve, Reed and Patricia Dupont.
