I. The business meeting was called to order at 6:30 PM by President Charles Tucker.
     A. Officers attending: President Charles Tucker, Treasurer Bill Little, Secretary Gerald Russo.
     B. Members Attendaing: Garrett Allison, Jerry Dupont, Banks Edwards, Michael Eells, Chuck Mudford, Sean O’Brien, Reed Ostrander, Jesse Shealy, Mark Soltero, Bob Tribble.
     C. Visitor: Ed Lundberg

II. Minutes of the previous meeting of February 3rd. were read by Secretary Gerald Russo.
     A. Corrections to minutes: none. The minutes were moved and accepted.
     B. The treasurer’s report was presented by Treasurer Bill Little. As of this date there is $2,867.53 in the treasury.

III. Announcements:
     A. Next Meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. April 7, 2025
     B. Next run sessions will be on March 10, 17, 24. March 17 will be an operating session at 6 pm.
     C. Thank you to Bill for his hospitality!
     D. The Mobile Show is March 8-9 with set up on Friday, March 7. (Verify list of attendees)
     E. Many thanks to Dupont, Shealy, Russo, and Eells who have rejuvenated the logging modules.
     F. The N-Scale Club meets every Thursday 6-9 p.m. in their club house in Gulf Breeze.

IV. Old Business
     A. Repairs need to be made here on the club layout. See separate sheet at clubhouse.
     B. Continue work on preparing for Operating sessions- currently installing new turnouts. (Work is in progress.)
     C. 8 new patch tracks have been installed but with many more to go. Each one took nearly an hour. We need a plan for the Mobile Show.
     D. The club still has 20 of the 2024 cars yet to be claimed. Please claim and pay for them. Those not claimed can be sold at the Train Fest in April.

V. New Business
     A. Our 501 c.7 status has lapsed. It needs to be filed again and our part of the cost is $300.00. Terry Tucker has already paid on our behalf and we need to reimburse him. (Motion 2nd. & approved)
     B. Discuss the location of the crossing gates - Jerry Russo has some comments.

          1. The purchased crossing gate will not fit on a show module, suggest placement on the club house layout by the roundhouse yard entrance to the main layout.
          2. Additional cantilever crossing signals (2 ea.) to be ordered for use on the show modules, positions to be determined.
     C. What needs to be done to finish the track work on the club house layout?
          1. Need manual push/pull cables for the new turnouts.
     D. Comments by any other members.

 

VI. Club Welfare
     We continue to lift up Steve, Donna, Reed, and Rick Simmons’ family.
