Minutes of Business Meeting

I. 1 The business meeting was called to order at 6:30 PM by President Charles Tucker.
     A. Officers attending: President Charles Tucker, Treasurer Bill Little, Secretary Gerald Russo.
     B. Members attending: Garrett Allison, Bob Canavello, Jerry Dupont, Banks Edwards, Chuck Mudford, Sean O’Brien, Reed Ostrander, Jesse Shealy.

II. Minutes of the previous meeting of May 5th were read by Secretary Gerald Russo.
     A. Corrections to minutes: none. The minutes were moved and accepted.
     B. The treasurer’s report was presented by Treasurer Bill Little. As of this date there is $2,833.92 in the treasury.

III. Announcements:
     A. Next Meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. July 7, 2025
     B. Next run sessions will be on June 9, 16, 23, and 30. June 16 will be an operating session at 6 pm.
     C. We still have 2024 and 2025 cars available. Please avail yourselves of the opportunity to add some unique cars to your fleet!!
     D. Barbara Shilling is working on constructing new skirts for the show modules.

IV. Old Business
     A. Repairs need to be made here on the club layout. (See separate sheet.)
     B. Continue work on preparing for Operating sessions. Next Ops session is scheduled for 6/16 @ 6pm.
     C. Continue discussion about the trailer wrap. Suggestion to place the sign wrap on a metal backing, also need new vinyl train show signs.
     D. Continue discussion on purchasing special use tools. (May be available from club members)

V. New Business
     A. We need some how to do it clinics. Any suggestions?
     B. The bridge needs to be reworked. What are our plans? Bridge has been moved to Dupont’s house and is currently being worked on.
     C. What else needs to be accomplished over the summer?
          1. Need to replace the siding 12” footers on the club house outside walls, need help.
          2. Decision to not attend the Tallahassee Train Show.
          3. Working group is currently upgrading the club standards, rules and information.
          4. Suggestion to look into Plexiglas 2’ X 4’ sections for show modules.
          5. Sean to look into a possible remodeling of the trailer module storage.
          6. Need tags and registration for the trailer.
