Minutes of the Business meeting
June 5, 2023
I. The business meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m.
A. Officers attending: Steve Grenot, Bill Little and
Bob Canavello
B. Members attending: Reed Ostrander,
Jerry DuPont, Rick Simmons, Mark Saltero, Chuck Mudford, Bob Tribble, Jesse Steely, and Banks Edwards.
II. Minutes of the previous meeting of May 1, 2023 were read.
III. The treasurer’s report was presented by
Treasurer Bill Little.
A. As of this date there is $1,146.79 in the treasury.
IV. Announcements:
A. Next meeting will be at 6:00 p.m. July 3, 2023.
B. Next run sessions July 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 of 2023
C. RailFest 2023 will be held November 11th and 12th.
D. Thank you to Bill for his hospitality!
V. Old Business
A. Front shelves are being designed for the front of
the new trailer.
B. Wood has been cut for the 2nd module (2X8?)
C. Sean is designing a new cart and is looking for
parts.
D. Cards will be made for operations sessions in the
near future.
E. Need to put the structures back on the engine
facility.
VI. New Business:
A. Reed has info on grade crossing arms. They are
quite good and adjustable. They go for $380 and can be seen at Model Train
Technology on YouTube. Discussion on possible purchase of them was tabled (until
next meeting) pending more research.
B. Operations cards to be prepared. Chuck has
industries for ops cards. Bill volunteered rolling stock for use in operations,
which is in the clubhouse in boxes.
C. Need to setup the engine facility and plug in
electric connections.
D. RailFest 2023 will be held November 11th and
12th.

VII Club Welfare
A. Our prayers are with Susan. We continue to lift up
Steve, Donna, Rick Simmons and Reed Ostrander.
