Minutes of Business Meeting
of January 2, 2023
I. The business meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by President Charles Tucker.
A. Officers Attending were: President Charles Tucker, Vice-president Steve Grenot, Treasurer Bill Little, Secretary Gerald Russo
B. Members attending were: Bob Canavello, Jerry Dupont, Chuck Mudford, Jacob Navaro, Richard Simmons, Mark Soltero, Bob Tribble.
C. Visitor: Jesse Shealy.
II. Minutes of the previous meeting of December 5th were read by Secretary Gerald Russo.
A. Correction to the minutes: None
1. The minutes were moved and accepted.
B. The Treasurers report was presented by Treasurer Bill Little.
1. As of this date there is $2,381.43 in the treasury.
2. Spent $484.63 for insurance.
III. Announcements:
A. Next meeting will be at 6:30, February 6, 2023
B . Next run session(s): January 9, 16, 23, & 30.
C. Thank you to Bill for his hospitality
D. Mobile Train Show March 4-5 with setup on March 3. (TBD)
E. Welcome to visitor.
IV. Old business:
A. Work on fininshing the new yard and powering the sidings on the Green Line (Main 4)
1. Turnout into the yard on the north end needs some attention.
2. The yard needs some more drops on the north end to fix some dead spots on the track.
B. Finish the farm module - (a few minor details.)
C. Work on repairs to the Club layout.
V. New Business:
A. Review and finalize the Protocol for setting up the modular layout.
B. continue work on preparing for Operating sessions, installing new turnouts.
C. Update and revise draft show module set-up instructions.
D. Work session 1/9 @ 3pm, Move bridge and wings (bridge-adjacent modules) from the trailer to the club house.
E. Comments by the President.
F. Comments by the Vice- President.
G. Comments by any other members.
1. Discussion concerning adjusting the "inner" stabilizers on the bridge first to 40 inches (rail-head height).
2. Long plugs (cables) to by-pass modules to next (non-adjacent to bidge) modules; short plugs (cables) from bridge to next (adjacent) modules.
3. Recommendation to add Call and Joe Little (Bill's grandsons) as Junior members.
VI. Club Welfare:
Our prayers are with Susan. We continue to lift up Steve, Donna, Rick Simmons and Reed Ostrander.
