Minutes of business
meeting of 1 December 2025
I. The business meeting was called to order at 6:20 p.m. by Vice-President Steve Grenot
A. Officers attending were: Vice-President Steve Grenot, Treasurer Bill Littlle, Secretary Gerald Russso.
B. Members attending were: Garrett Allison, Bob Canavello, Jerry Dupont, Banks Edwards, Michael Eells, Ed Lundberg, Chuck Mudford, Reed Ostrander and Jerry Shealy.
II. Minutes of the previous meeting of 3 November were read by Secretary Gerald Russo.
A. Corrections to Minutes: none.
B. The Treasurer's report was presented by Treasurer Bill Little. As of this date there is $2570.92 in the treasury.
III. Announcements:
A. Next meeting will be a 6:30 p.m. 12 January 2026.
B. Next run sessions will be December 8, 15, 22 & 29.
C. We still have 2024 and 2025 club cars available. Please avail yourselves of the opportunity to add some unique cars for your fleet!
D. Many thanks to Chuck Mudford, Jesse Stealy, Gerald Dupont and others who have been working on the layout fro Dec 19 & 20.
IV. Old Business
A. The Navy Federal Christmas Bash will be held at the Old Winery on E. Gonzales St. on December 19 & 20 from 6 to 10 p.m.
1. We will need 3 folks to run the layout at a time.
2. Eleven switch machines will need to be installed plus the controllers for those machines.
3. We need to check out the track work;
4. Repair the scenery;
5. make two new specialized modules;
6. We need help for all the items.
B. We need to plan the show for Navy Federal. I have asked that we have access to the venue of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Dec 16, 17 & 18 beginning at 1 pm.
V. New Business
A. Election of Officers for 2026.
1. President: Charles Tucker
2. Vice-President: Steve Grenot
3. Secretary: Gerald Russo
4. Treasurer: Bill Little
B. Comments from the President: "Hello from Paris! I will be back in Pensacola on December 6th.
C. Comments by any other members: The side covers for the double-stack modules are weak and need to be replaced.
