Minutes of Business
Meeting of August 3, 2026
I. The business meeting was called to order at 6:30 PM by President Charles
Tucker.
A. Officers attending: President Charles Tucker,
Vice-president Steve Grenot, Treasurer Bill Little, Secretary Gerald Russo.
B Members Members: Garrett
Allison, Bob Canavello, Jerry Dupont, Banks Edwards, Brian Kraatz, Chuck
Mudford, Sean O’Brien, Jesse Shealy.
II. Minutes of the previous meeting of July 6, 2026 were
read by Secretary Gerald Russo.
A. Corrections to minutes: “Flomaton”. The minutes were
moved and accepted.
B. The treasurer’s report was presented by Treasurer
Bill Little. As of this date there is $2,440.30 in the treasury.
3. Announcements:
A. Next Meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. September 14, 2026. (Sept. 7 is Labor Day.)
B. Next run sessions will be August 10, 17, 24, 31. August 17 will be an Operating Session at 6 p.m. if desired.
C. We still have 2024 and 2025 cars available. Please avail yourselves of the opportunity to add some unique cars to your fleet!!
D. There is a train show in Mobile on September 19th and 20th, with set upon the 18th. (There is a $300 Honorarium for coming.)
E. There is our show in Flomaton on September 26th with set up on Friday, September 25.
F. We welcome new member Richard Bamber.
G. We have received the artwork for the 2026 car. (PMRC to be in red)
IV. Old Business
A. Update from Jesse about the redesign of the trailer.
1. Plan to have the trailer renovations completed in the next few weeks.
2. Jesse needs additional assistance.
B. Assistance is needed on the remodel of the trailer and the corner show modules, contact Jesse or Chuck. Chuck, Gerald and Allen are working on corners.
C. Work will begin on laying track, buildings and scenery on the new roundhouse modules, assistance is appreciated. In a week or so, on a Tuesday, cork, track and the bridge will be started on.
D. When leaving the club, remember to shut down the Digitrax system, return the AC to the previous setting and lock the gates, (lock to lock).
V. New Business
A. Please post news,
pictures, video to the PMRC HO Facebook page. Meeting times, etc. need updating.
B. Vote on whether to attend the Mobile two-day show.
Motion to not attend, 2nd & approved.
C. Comments from the President:: Appreciation to everyone who are working on the yard modules and updating the show modules.
D. Comments by any other
members. Gerald Dupont: Need for circuit breakers on layouts, Ken Patterson
(What’s Neat This Week You-Tube show) fire on his layout, left area while trains
were running unsupervised.
VI. Club Welfare:
We continue to lift up Steve, Reed, Patricia Dupont and
David Ramirez.
