Minutes of Business Meeting

of October 7, 2024


I. The business meeting was called to order at 6:30 PM by President Charles Tucker.
     A. Officers attending: President Charles Tucker, Vice-president Steve Grenot,Treasurer Bill Little, Secretary Gerald Russo.

      B. Members attending: Jackie Brown, Bob Canavello, Banks Edwards, Michael Eells, Jason Godwin, Logan Godwin, Chuck Mudford, Jesse Shealy, Mark Soltero, Bob Tribble.
     C.Visitor: Garrett Allison
II. Minutes of the previous meeting of September 9th were read by Secretary Gerald Russo.
     A. Corrections to minutes: none. The minutes were moved and accepted.
     B. The treasurer’s report was presented by Treasurer Bill Little. As of this date there is $3,559.47 in the treasury.
III. Announcements:
     A. Next Meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. November 4, 2024
     B. Next run session(s) will be at the Fair and on October 25 if anyone is not cross-eyed by then!
     C. Thank you to Bill for his hospitality!
     D. The Interstate Fair is October 17-27 with set up Oct. 13-16. We will be in our usual location! We need to make several additions/repairs to the layout as we set up.

IV. Old Business

      A. Repairs need to be made here in the club house. See separate sheet.

      B. Continue work on preparing for Operating sessions- currently installing new turnouts. (Work is in progress.)

      C. The Cars from Accurail are here!

V. New Business

      A.We need to begin preparing the joint tracks for use when we set up at the Fair.

      B. Are there any new modules in the planning stage or under construction?

      D. Comments from the President

      E. Comments from the Vice President.

      F. Comments by any other members.

VI. Club Welfare

       We continue to lift up Steve, Donna, Reed, and Rick Simmons’ family.

       We wish Dustin and his family well as they moved to Asheville,just in time for the big hurricane
