Minutes of Business
Meeting of October 5, 2026
I. The business meeting was called to order at 6:30 PM by President Charles
Tucker.
A. Officers attending: President Charles Tucker,
Treasurer Bill Little, Secretary Gerald Russo
B. Member attending: Allen
Ashbrook, Bob Canavello, Banks Edwards, Michael Eells, Chuck Mudford, Reed
Ostrander, Mark Soltero.
II. Minutes of the previous meeting of Sept. 14, 2026 were read by Secretary Gerald Russo.
A. Corrections to minutes:
none. The minutes were moved and accepted.
B. The treasurer’s report was presented by Treasurer
Bill Little. As of this date there is $1,900+ in the treasury.
III. Announcements:
A. Next Meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. on November 2, 2026.
B. Next run sessions will be October 9 &16, then running will be at the Fair.
C. We still have 2024 and 2025 cars available.
D. The 2026 cars have arrived and due to an anonymous donor, cars will be available to club members during the month of October for only $20 each. Starting November 1st the price will be $30 each.
E. The Fair is upon us. We will set up on Sunday, October 18 beginning at around 10am. We will need to unload everything and then let the models acclimate before connecting them. Also there is still some repair work to be done. Chuck and Jesse are in charge.
F. Many thanks to Jesse for all his work in designing and building the insides of our trailer. The teardown at Flomaton took only 2 hours and 8 minutes. When we get all the hinged legs replaced that time should decrease again. Thanks to all who helped install the new storage racks in the trailer.
G. Thanks to all who made it to Flomaton and made the day a success.
IV. Old Business
A. Report on the progress of new engine facility modules and suggested schedule for construction. (Modules to be called (NACEDAH Yard)
B. New log-in for the PMRC HO Web site: http://phomrc.com/index.htm. Thank you to Banks for updating the Web information and link.
V. New Business
A. The usual work session for the new engine facility is Tuesdays at 2 p.m. at the club house.
B. Sign up for working at the Fair.
C. Comments by any other
members.
1. Thanks to all who assisted at the
Flomaton show. Ran four trains at once on the show modules.
2. Remember how to close gate locks.
3. For “Blue Check Marks on WEB pages, must pay extra, “declined”.
4. New
buildings have been acquired for the NACEDAH Yard.
VI. Club Welfare We continue to lift up Steve, Reed,
Patricia Dupont and David Ramirez.
